Global citizenship in the critical education perspective

Now, we are becoming aware that intercultural education constitutes the normality of education in multicultural societies such as the one in which we live and respond to multiple needs, and it is important to know the norms of intercultural education and to use it as a positive resource in problem solving. It is a fundamental aim and to pursue a formative itinerary with an antidogmatic, non-ethnocentric mode and which, enriched by diversity, proceeds through critical control and the creation of new concepts, strategies and tools that meet the needs of practical life, a fast and perpetual evolution. This implies the construction of a broad, transitory form, measurable in terms of problematization and empowerment, to address the complexity of multiethnic and multicultural society of our day, through fluid processing and without prejudice to the democratic rules of social coexistence. Active citizenship, we remind you, and principally participation and responsibility.
